One drowns to death in Dirak River under Kakopothar Police Station

DOOMDOOMA: One Jagat Konwar (48) of Bordirak Village under Kakopothar PS drowned in the Dirak River on Friday afternoon. According to information, a bamboo bridge is being constructed over the Dirak River connecting Bordirak Village with Na-Sumoni by the villagers. Jagat Konwar also came forward for community service with the villagers. He accidently slipped off the bridge under construction and fell into the river. Later, the villagers recovered his body from the river.
