One held for graft by CM vigilance cell in Darrang

MANGALDAI: The General Manager of the DICC, Darrang, Hemanta Talukdar was caught red-handed by the sleuths of the CM vigilance cell while taking a bribe amounting to Rs 10,000 as the first installment from an applicant of PMEGP.

The vigilance team after catching the officer red-handed in his office here at Gerimari, carried out an intensive interrogation for several hours till filing of this report in the evening on Tuesday.
