One killed in road mishap at Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: One Abani Baruah (71), a resident of Dekasundar, died in a road accident on Friday. As per information, he was hit by a motorcycle while he was heading towards his home from Majgaon at around 8.15 pm. On the other hand, the biker also sustained serious head injury. Both the injured were taken to the North Jamuguri Hospital while Abani Baruah was referred to TMCH for further treatment. He breathed his last at around 10.45 pm at TMCH. He leaves behind his wife, a son, three daughters and a host of relatives.
