One tested COVID-19 positive in Udalguri; 5 discharged from hospital

UDALGURI: Md Baharul Islam (32) tested COVID-19 positive in Udalguri while another five persons were discharged from hospitals after they tested negative. The people discharged from hospitals were Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma (42), Birju Gopala (20), Harka Thapa (28), Raju Chouhan (32), and Sujit Mandal (26). The total COVID tally in the district is 227. Among them, 184 were discharged after treatment and 42 are undergoing treatment. The death toll in Udalguri is 1.
