One trampled to death in Kellyden Tea Estate at Misa

NAGAON: A herd of wild elephants trampled one to death on Friday night at 12 no line near Manasa Mandir in Kellyden Tea Estate at Misa. Sources claimed that the body of the deceased was found this morning by some locals. The forest personnel from Salna range office recovered his body.

The victim who was locally known as Ganesh (60) lives almost alone and hence his identity, as well as other details, are yet to be confirmed by the department concerned for which the officials of the forest range, handed over the body of the deceased to the local Misa police for the processing of disposal.
