Parliamentary Standing Committee visits LGBRIMH at Tezpur
A Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare visited the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) at Tezpur

TEZPUR: A Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare visited the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) at Tezpur and held an interaction with the representatives of the State Government and other stakeholders.
The 30-member delegation under the chairmanship of Rajya Sabha MP Bhubaneswar Kalita reviewed the progress that has been made with respect to revamping the healthcare infrastructure at LGBRIMH, Tezpur.
The visit is part of the steps taken by the government to make LGBRIMH one of the best health institutions in the Northeast, said Rajya Sabha MP Bhubaneswar Kalita. The team was accompanied by DC Deba Kumar Mishra, Joint Director Health Services Dr J Ahmed, senior officials of the Health Department and others.
Apart from this, Deputy Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra inaugurated a CT Scan Centre under the Chief Minister's Free Diagnostic programme at Kanaklata Civil Hospital, Tezpur in the presence of Joint Director, Health Services Dr J Ahmed, and other officials of the health department.
