PATHSALA: Pathsala popularly known as the educational hub of Assam once again won laurels in the field of education by bagging top four positions among the top ten ranks (4th, 7th, 8th, 9th rank) in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination. Soon after the announcement of the results, students and the teachers took out a huge procession throughout the town shouting slogans and bursting firecrackers.

Among the rank holders, Swapnaraj Kalita secured 4th rank and Jyotipal Talukdar secured 7th rank from Anandaram Baruah Academy of Pathsala. Swapnaraj Kalita is a resident of Pathsala, his father is Ranjit Kalita a businessman by profession and his mother Niru Kalita is a home-maker.

While Jyotipal Talukdar who hails from Patacharkuchi, his father Tapan Talukdar a physician by profession and mother Seema Kalita is a home-maker. Both the students wanted to be a physician in future. On the other hand, Harshit Barman secured 8th rank and Divine AP Sarma secured 9th rank. Both are from Pathsala Sikshapith Adarsha High School.

Harshit Barman is the son of Jiten Barman and Gitika Kalita Barman of Tihu under Nalbari district. He wants to complete HS from Pathsala in the science stream and wanted to be a doctor in future.

Meanwhile, AASU, AJYCP, Bajrang Dall and a large number of organizations of the locality greeted the students for bringing glory to the educational hub of the State Pathsala. Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass also congratulated the students for their landmark achievements.
