GAURISAGAR: The people of the country have gained nothing except corruption during the 55 years of Congress rule in the country and the party had no character and no leader. This was stated by Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, while addressing a election rally at Sudhakantha Dr Bhupen Hazarika Suwarani Mancha, Napukhuripar on the outskirts of Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district today.
