Piramal Foundation organizes first NGO conclave on Aspirational Districts

DHUBRI: Piramal Foundation organized the first NGO Conclave on Aspirational Districts with NGOs here at Kalibari auditorium on Saturday.

Aspirational Districts Collaborative (ADC), is a Piramal Foundation in collaboration with NITI Aayog, organized the meet to build a grassroots ecosystem of change leaders from community (local NGOs, local College, SHGs, PRIs, local faith leaders) to work together with the district administration. ADC is first of its kind opportunity to bring social change through collaboration and convergence for improving life chances of community.

Grassroots non-government organizations got first ever platform in Dhubri to get together, understand the NGOs experiences, methodology and contributions towards the people of Dhubri. Leaders and representative of approximately 23 NGOs participated in the NGO Conclave. Talking to The Sentinel, Spriha Gayan of Dhubri district Piramal Foundation, informed that the next NGO Conclave would be hosted to give membership certificate to Aspirational Districts Collaborative.
