PALASBARI: When the second wave of COVID-19 infections hit the country, many places experienced a severe shortage of medical oxygen which led to the unfortunate deaths of several people. During this time, the 175 Bn CRPF, Rani carried out a plantation drive on Sunday at Institute of Farm Management under Rani area. During this drive, they planted 500 tree plants in the Rani area.

The tree plantation drive aimed to spread awareness among locals about the importance of tree plantation and how it has a direct impact on our lives, said Abdul Rahim, Assistant Commandant of 175 Bn. It may be mentioned here that COVID protocols were maintained during the plantation drive.
