Poacher nabbed by SSB from Kuklung area under Manas National Park

BONGAIGAON: A poacher was nabbed by SSB on Friday from the Kuklung area under Manas National Park of Chirang district under Bijni PS. A source said that the poacher, Dharma Hajong (32) was nabbed by SSB team. "Dharma Hajong is a resident of Bijni. From his possession, a gun and other hunting equipment were recovered. A team of seven poachers were there who tried to kill a deer. But after coming to know about the SSB operation, six fled from spot," the source said.
