NALBARI: "Manash Jyoti Sarma's poems always bear a new taste and his socio- political themes make his poetry most readable," said noted poet Hirendra Kumar Sarma on Monday at the auditorium of Barnali Dance Academy, Nalbari while releasing Manash Jyoti Sarma's new poetry collection 'Alu, Badam, Nemu Ityadi'.

This collection was published by Shankar Drama on behalf of Gajali Prakashan. Dr Pankaj Gobinda Medhi, Santanu Sarma, Nabajyoti Pathak, Dr Binoy Kumar Majumdar, Ajit Rajbagnshi, Janki Sarma and many noted writers were present at the function. Ajit Mahanta, a renowned writer said, "Poetry has a long journey and every poet should learn it." In continuation of the book releasing function, a poets' meet was also held.
