Preparation underway for Me-Dam-Me-Phi in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The Tai Ahom Yuva-Chatra Sanmilan, Asom (TAYCSA) has decided to celebrate Me-Dam-Me-Phi centrally in Lakhimpur at the Tai Central Academy in Na-Ali Kadam near North Lakhimpur town.

In this regard, the Lakhimpur unit of the organization has undertaken massive preparation for the smooth conduct of the event. A public meeting was organized on Sunday at the Tai Central Academy wherein a strong celebration committee was constituted with Phanidhar Gogoi as president and Akshay Gogoi and Ratul Baruah as joint secretaries. The meeting was chaired by Lakhimpur unit TAYCPA president Joyjyoti Gogoi.
