Principal Dr Nitai Pradhan felicitated for receiving honorary doctorate degree

NAGAON: In a felicitation ceremony organized on Monday at Good Shepherd Home High School located in Amoni Amlakhi Tea Garden of the district, the principal of the school, Dr Nitai Pradhan, who recently received an honorary doctorate degree, was honoured with a Phulam Gamocha, Xarai, and a citation. Representatives of various social organizations and tea tribe organizations were present at the felicitation.

On this occasion, senior teacher of the school Anup Biswal and other teachers congratulated their principal and said that Dr Nitai Pradhan receiving an honorary doctorate degree was a matter of pride for the tea garden region, and with this, the people here would be able to understand the importance of education and social service.

In a programme organized by the American International University at Rajendra Bhavan in Delhi, Dr Nitai Pradhan was awarded an honorary doctorate degree for his field of education and excellent social service, due to which there is a wave of happiness in the area. Various social organizations along with Kaliabar MLA and state government minister Keshab Mahanta congratulated him.

On the occasion of this felicitation ceremony, Dr Nitai Pradhan said that social service and educational service were great penance, and their continuous practice would always yield results one day or the other.
