Prizes distributed to budding photographers in Chirang

KOKRAJHAR: The Deputy Commissioner of Chirang, Narendra Kumar Shah on Tuesday gave away the prizes to the budding photographers in a prize distribution ceremony held in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner's office at Kajalgaon. In the competition, Hiranmay Basumatary of South Chapaguri, Kajalgaon bagged the first prize of Rs 3000, Dwiden Muchahary of No.1 Fulbari, Hatisar bagged the second prize of Rs 2000, while Bishal Paul won the third prize of Rs 1000. The DC congratulated them on winning the competition. The event was organized by the Chirang district administration from October 26 to November 8, 2021 in order to promote and provide a perfect exposure of the assets like art, culture, wildlife animals, scenic beauty of the district.
