In his welcome address, Chirang Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar Shah said, "The core idea behind the project catch-up is to teach students for one extra hour just after the mid-day meal for coming four months. The aim is to provide basic minimum level of competency of languages (Assamese, Bodo, English) and Maths. The training module and other materials for the same is being prepared in consultation with Education Department.
