Ramakrishna Mission organized relief camp and distributed clothes among poor in Haflong

Haflong: With the motto ‘Seva’ of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram Silchar, in collaboration with Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samity Haflong, had organized a distress relief camp at various places like the Ramakrishna Seva Samity premises, Haflong, Harangajao Durga Mandir, Boro Chenam and Michidui recently, said Bisweswar (Babla) Chakraborty, secretary of Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samity, Haflong.

A total of 650 jackets, sweaters, pants, and shirts were distributed among the poor villagers. The distribution programme was conducted by Swami Baikunthanandaji Maharaj of Silchar Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram and Nihal Maharaj. Similar distress relief camps will be organized in various parts of Dima Hasao district among the poor and needy people within January 2020, said Nihal Maharaj.
