‘Rashtriya Ekta’ mini-marathon at Panery held in Mangaldai

MANGALDAI: The Indian Army organized the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Mini Marathon’ recently at Panery in the Udalguri district to celebrate Army Day and instill a wave of national pride among the local youths. In the 10 km-long marathon, about 300 runners from Army, SSB and Assam Police, including young boys and girls of the schools and colleges of the locality, participated enthusiastically. The winners were felicitated under Army, men and women category. This initiative of the Indian Army motivated the youth to be part of nation-building and inculcate discipline and patriotic feelings towards the nation.
