Reception committee for UBPO conference formed in Golaghat district

KOKRAJHAR: A strong reception committee was formed for the 7th annual conference of United Bodo People's Organization (UBPO) to be held at Uriumghat in Golaghat district. The annual conference will be held from February 5 to February 7, 2021.

The general secretary of the UBPO, Anil Basumatary said the reception committee was formed with Biswajit Phukon as president and Katiram Tulsiay as secretary to hold the 7th annual conference of the organization. He said the reception committee was formed in a public meeting held at Madhampur community hall, Uriumghat in Golaghat district on Wednesday and the meeting was presided over by Mukonda Basumatary, president of Golaghat district committee of UBPO.

The central committee of the UBPO expected active help and co-operation from all Bodo frontal organizations and civil societies, irrespective of caste and religion, to make the conference a grand success.
