Regional Committee of Cultural Maha Sabha formed in Sarupathar

SARUPATHAR: A meeting was held in Sarupathar Sahitya Sabha Bhavan recently to form a regional committee of Cultural Maha Sabha, Assam. The meeting was presided over by Surya Gogoi and the purpose of the meeting was explained by Ranjan Mahanta, of the convening committee.

Nineteen members were appointed to the new regional committee of Cultural Maha Sabha, Assam. Among them, Nayan Moni Rajkhowa was elected as president, Biraj Sharma as secretary, and Bivinna Rajani Chutia and Ranjan Mahanta as working secretaries of the committee.
