GORESWAR: Senior advocate of the Gauhati High Court, Manash Sharania, who joined the BJP on July 17, exchanged his views with local journalists at his residence in Goreswar on July 20. The event was anchored by Parameswar Deka.
He remarked that Assam had long been plagued by social unrest, but that in the present time, regional political parties had no relevance. He emphasized that the problems of the country and the state can only be solved through collective efforts.
Manash Sharania said that a country’s policies must be inclusive of all communities, and only then can true development occur. He said that such policies must reach the grassroots and not just remain on paper.
Sharania praised the role of journalists in a democratic society and said that their experiences, opinions, and participation were important for overall development. He thanked the journalists of Goreswar for coming for the meaningful exchange.
