Restrictions imposed in Bihoguri, Tezpur

TEZPUR: Apprehending threat to human life as well as cattle and other domestic animals during night hours due to free movement of a stray rhino in the area, the District Magistrate of Sonitpur under Section 144 CrPC issued an order prohibiting the movement of general public during night hours in greater Bihoguri area under Tezpur Police Station and surrounding areas.

The order will come into force with immediate effect in the Bindukuri area under Tezpur revenue circle and will remain in force till the rescue operation of the rhino is completed.
