Robber arrested by Tinsukia police

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia police led by SI Bhaskar Jyoti Phukan after a long pursuit arrested a robber identified as Dipankar Phukan (25) of Panitola Panimodi Habi Gaon on Saturday in connection with Napukhuri Masjid Patty's Aman Kedia robbery case registered in Tinsukia PS vide 806/21 u/s 448/392 IPC. The accused has been forwarded to judicial custody. The dacoity was committed in broad daylight on June 16 by 3 miscreants. His other 2 accomplices- Tiku Dowara and Baikuntha Dowara both hailing from same village are still absconding.
