Rosy Newar of Lakhimpur district bags Junior Miss Assam title

LAKHIMPUR: The people of Laluk accorded warm felicitation to Rosy Newar for bagging the 'Junior Miss Assam' title in a beauty contest held in Guwahati on April 11 and April 12.

The beauty contest was organized by Spark at Rukmini Nahar auditorium wherein Rosy managed to secure the title with her beauty, talent and presence of mind. Rosy is the daughter of Mohan Newar and Sita Newar, residents of Meraguriya village under Laluk area of Lakhimpur district. She is the student of Class IV at Laluk Sankardev Shishu Niketan.
