Rotary Club of Dibrugarh hands over spraying machines for sanitization in AMCH

Dibrugarh: Rotary Club of Dibrugarh, which is a member of Rotary International - one of the oldest and largest service organizations of the world, has always been true to its motto ‘Service above Self’. The members of Rotary Club of Dibrugarh have been routinely rendering assistance and offering their services in times of crisis and need.
Realizing the importance of sanitization in all health establishments, commercial and residential areas of Dibrugarh, the club has come forward to assist the district administration in its efforts. Several spraying machines have been handed over to the authorities of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) to aid in the sanitization efforts of the hospital so that every ward of the hospital could be sanitized well with special emphasis on the fever clinic, isolation ward and the COVID-19 wards. The entire campus of the Assam Medical College and Hospital, including the staff and 4th grade residential areas and the hostels, has been sanitized. This will be an ongoing project of the Rotary Club of Dibrugarh.
The sanitization activity under the leadership of the president of Rotary Club of Dibrugarh, Rtn. Samir Todi, secretary, Arindam Sarmah and dedicated team of Rotarians was also undertaken in various areas of Dibrugarh like Shantipara, Seujpur, Chowkidinghee, Paltan Bazar, Graham Bazar and District Court campus. Rtn Vikash Mody, MD Phoenix Automobiles Sales and Service Pvt.Ltd, Dibrugarh supported the entire sanitization effort by providing all the apparatus and manpower.
