Sandhya Milan Gosthi distributes face masks and sanitizers in Udalguri

UDALGURI: The prominent youth organization of Udalguri, Sandhya Milan Gosthi distributed masks and sanitizers to media persons and the public. "Awareness and precaution are the main weapons to defeat COVID-19. So we are trying to create awareness among the people," said Akhil Kalita, the president of Sandhya Milan Gosthi, Udalguri.

A meeting was also held at Udalguri Sahitya Sabha Bhavan where local media persons were honoured by the Sandhya Milan Gosthi for their dedicated public service. The meeting was presided over by Akhil Kalita and the purpose of the meeting was explained by Bitopan Das, senior member of the group. Gautamjyoti Talukdar, the president of Udalguri Press Club, Shantanu Tamuli, vice-president, among others were present.
