Sanitization programme by a group of youths initiated in Dhakuakhana

LAKHIMPUR: Synchronizing with the rest of the nation, the Lakhimpur district administration has executed all necessary, precautionary measures across the district in a view to preventing any possible outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. Simultaneously, the Dhakuakhana subdivisional administration also has implemented all kinds of due measures for the same in the wake of worldwide outbreak of the fatal disease.

It is observed that the people of the subdivision have been carrying out the advisories of lockdown comprehensively responding to the clarion call of being self quarantined for 21 day long period by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as by the State Government. Amidst such a situation, a group of enthusiastic youths of the subdivision came forward to clean the Dhakuakhana town on Thursday initiating an extensive sanitization programme to prevent the outbreak of the fatal virus. Carrying the drums containing with sanitizers along with the spray machines on their back, the group of youths went on cleaning the town spraying the sanitizers from one end to another from 5am.

Dhakuakhana Police Station premises, market places and many other places of Dhakuakhana town were cleaned and sanitized by the youths during the programme, which was undertaken in association with the subdivisional administration abiding by the guidelines of ongoing lockdown.

Further, the group of youths appealed to the people of Dhakuakhana as well as the State to make the lockdown successful extending full support to the call of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of the State. They urged all not to come out in order to break the very chain of coronavirus infection.
