Santipur Durga Puja to celebrate 50th Durga Puja

DEMOW: Durga Puja preparations are going on in full swing in Demow. The Durga idols will be brought from Sepon and Bel Baran will be on Saturday.

Under the patronage of Demow Santipur Nabajyoti Sangha and in association with the people, the Santipur Durga Puja will hold its 50th Durga Puja this year. The Santipur Durga Puja will be organized in the Demow Santipur Radha Krishna Mandir premises. The Puja will start from October 1 and will conclude on October 5.

The Santipur Durga Puja is one of the oldest Durga Pujas in the Demow area, said a member of the organizing committee of Demow Santipur Nabajyoti Sangha. Various cultural programmes will be organized in the Puja.
