Sashastra Seema Bal Jawans vaccinated against COVID-19

HOWLY: The vaccination for frontline workers started as the jawans of 64th Battalion , Sashastra Seema Bal, administered doses of COVID-19 vaccine i.e. Covishield. Commandant Nand Kishore Tamta said that the pandemic time was hard for the mankind & credited the whole frontline workers, who stood in difficult times of lockdown and diligently performed their duties irrespective of situation then. He also thanked hospital staff of Barpeta CHC for their effort in fighting against COVID-19. Dr. Rajiv Barbora District Immunization Officer , Barpeta said that 110 jawans got the jab and drive will continue to 3 days for all unit personnel, stated a press release.
