Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti protests against CAA in Sarupathar

SARUPATHAR: Activists of the Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS) staged a protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and threatened the BJP-led Assam Government as well as the Central Government. They also burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday at Sarupathar under Dhansiri subdivision in Golaghat district. Akash Daw, SMSS district president, Khanindra Kurmi, SMSS president of Dhansiri subdivision and other leaders were present in the protest.
