Section 144 CrPC promulgated in Golaghat districts

GOLAGHAT: Golaghat district administration imposed Section 144 CrPC in the district of Golaghat on Wednesday in view of the ensuing HSLC and HS examination.

The Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, Dr P. Uday Praveen imposed section 144 CrPC vide an order with a number of prohibitions and in view of the ensuing HSLC, HSSLC and various other Board Examinations which are underway in the State.

During this period using of any loudspeaker, sound systems/ producing instrument or a sound amplifier etc. between 8 PM to 8 AM by any function / fair / hotel / resort / marriage hall / banquet hall etc. has been prohibited. This order will come into force with immediate effect and remain in force until further order. Violation of the order would invite prosecution U/S 188 I.P.C.
