Sirajuli branch of AXX hosts summer literary meet, felicitates members

DHEKIAJULI: In a vibrant celebration of literature and language, the Sirajuli branch of Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) organized its bi-monthly summer literary meet under the theme ‘An Evening of Summer in Love with the Art of Words’ on July 24. The event, held in a warm and inspiring ambiance at the residence of Dr Sukdev Adhikari, President of Sonitpur district Xahitya Xabha, and advisor to the Sirajuli branch, witnessed enthusiastic participation from writers and literary lovers alike.

Adding a special dimension to the gathering, the event also hosted a felicitation ceremony for the newly-recognized lifetime members of the AXX. Around 15 local literary enthusiasts were formally honoured with certificates of recognition and gifted premium-quality pens as tokens of appreciation for their enduring commitment to the world of words.

The meet featured engaging literary exchanges and reflections, celebrating the rich literary traditions of Assam while also nurturing budding voices. The presence of distinguished guests and the vibrant participation of the community made the evening a memorable chapter in Sirajuli’s cultural calendar.
