
SIVASAGAR: The students of Sivasagar district have showcased remarkable academic performance in the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) Higher Secondary (HS) Examination 2025. The district recorded high pass percentages across all streams, reflecting the dedication and hard work of both students and educators.
Sivasagar achieved a pass percentage of 97.13% in the science stream, while the vocational stream followed closely with 95%. The Arts stream saw a commendable 90.78%, and the Commerce stream recorded 89.54%.
Education officials have expressed satisfaction with the results, crediting schools, teachers, and parents for their continued support in maintaining Sivasagar’s academic excellence.
Dima Hasao struggled significantly, with pass rates as low as 56.27% in science and 46.60% in commerce, suggesting educational gaps. Cachar also faced challenges, particularly in arts, with a 58.96% pass rate, alongside Karbi Anglong and Hailakandi, which had lower figures in several streams.
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) announced the Higher Secondary (HS) examination results for 2025 on April 30, 2025, at 9 AM, marking a significant milestone for over 300,000 students across the state. The results, released under the supervision of Secretary Narnarayan Nath, ACS, cover four streams—Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational—revealing a landscape of academic excellence and areas needing improvement.
