Smallest handwritten book by Parash Borah of Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: A youth of Dhakuakhana subdivision of Lakhimpur district has brought laurels to the district by including his name in the Assam Book of Records, International Book of Records, International Excellent Award Book of World Records and World's Greatest Record. This youth is Parash Borah, son of Ratna Borah, resident of Devoliya Gaon under the subdivision. He has managed to register his name in the four books of records for his smallest handwritten handmade book in the Assamese language which is an anthology of his poems, titled as Mor Jeevanor Batere.

A total of 9 poems along with two riddles have been incorporated in the 37-page anthology of the poems. The length of the book is only 5.5 cm while the breadth of the same is only 3.5 cm. Several prominent personalities, his well-wishers and local people have congratulated Parash Borah for holding the record. He already received the certificates sent by the authorities of Assam Book of Records, International Book of Records, International Excellent Award Book of World Records and World's Greatest Record.
