Sngi Lum Lang Festival of the Jaintias celebrated in Dima Hasao

Haflong: The Sngi Lum Lang Festival of the Jaintias residing in Dima Hasao district was celebrated at Jatinga village with traditional fervour and gaiety on Monday. The festival was celebrated at Jatinga with an aim to revive the culture and customs of the Jaintias. Amendu Hojai, Executive Member, NCHAC, graced the occasion as the chief guest and MLAs from Garo Hills also joined the celebration. Bamja (Festival Feast) was also arranged followed by cultural programme in the evening.
