Sonitpur district administration issues advisory to avoid any programs due to coronavirus

Tezpur: In view of the current situation prevailing due to spread of Covid-19 novel Coronavirus in the country, the Sonitpur district administration has issued an advisory to all political/ non-political organizations and heads of various government departments to avoid any programs which might lead to mass gatherings, till the spread of the disease is contained. The advisory was issued after an office memorandum issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India dated March 5, 2020, was received advising all States to reduce mass gatherings in order to avoid the spread of COVID -19 novel Coronavirus disease.
