Special Books of essays released at Nagaon

NAGAON: Rasona Samogra, a special book of essays on various issues, penned by Krishna Ram Bora, former vice-principal of Nowgong Girls' College, was ceremonially released at a function organized on his first death anniversary at his Nagaon Panigaon residence on Wednesday.

The book was released by noted scholar of Sankari tradition, culture and literature, Tilak Chandra Majumdar. Dr Giri Kt Goswami, retired professor of Nowgong College, was also present at the function.

The programme was anchored by Pranjal Kr Mahanta, the proprietor of Alibaat Prakashan, while many dignitaries of the district were present. Significantly, the book was published under special supervision of Amitabh Bora, elder son of Krishna Ram Bora. Besides, during the function, another book titled Satbhoni by Ratna Bora, who is the wife of Krishna Ram Bora, was also ceremonially released.
