SSB, NGO recovered two fawns at Bhutankhuti and Mainaguri villages of Baksa

Tamulpur: Two fawns were recovered at Bhutankhuti and Mainaguri villages on Sunday along the Indo-Bhutan border under Nikashi police outpost in the district of Baksa in a joint operation by SSB and an NGO named Manash Sousi Khungur Echo Tourism Society, Baksa. Following information, Inspector Sanjit Samajdar and Chandukesh Yadab of No 27 Bn of SSB of Bhutankhuti and Bijoy Choudhury, president of Manas Sousi Khungur Echo Tourism Society, launched an operation at Bhutankhuti and Mainaguri village and recovered two fawns from some villagers. The fawns are about 20-25 days old.

Both the fawns were treated by veterinary doctors and thereafter shifted to SSB camp of Howly in Barpeta district. They will be kept under observation for few days by SSB and the NGO, said Bijoy Choudhury, president of Manash Suosi Khungur Echo Tourism Society.
