GUWAHATI: The 29th state-level National Children's Science Congress (NCSC)-2021 will be held during December 6-8 in the online mode. Participation this year was as as large as it used to be earlier.
Expecting around 200-250 projects for the State Level. The inaugural session will be started at 10-30 am December 6. Keshab Mahanta, Hon'ble Minister, Science and Technology and Climate Change, Assam willattend the inaugural session as the Chief Guest, in which G D Tripathi, IAS, Commissionerand Secretary to Government of Assam, Science and Technology and Climate Change Department and Er. Sujit Banerjee, National Programme Coordinator, NCSC and Director, National Council and Science and Technology Communication, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India will join as the Guests of Honour.
The 'Key Note Address' will be delivered by Dr Barnali Das, Scientist, National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Pune, India.
Kinmei Sangsan, Director of ASTEC & President of SOC, NCSC-2021 Assam, Dr Jaideep Baruah, Working President, NCSC-2021 Assam, Bipul Borah, Chairman, State Academic Committee, NCSC-2021 Assam, Romen Gogoi, State Coordinator, NCSC-2021 Assam and members of the State Organising Committee will attend the central function of the inaugural session which is arranged in Guwahati.
