Street plays "Gosor Sadhu and Jonak Nohouk Amabosya" staged in Dhakuakhana

LAKHIMPUR: The first semester trainees of the DLEd Course at Dhakuakhana Normal School staged three street plays in Dhakuakhana on Monday as part of their co-curriculum activities in association with Dhakuakhana MV School. Staged as an awareness campaign, two plays titled as Gosor Sadhu and Jonak Nohouk Amabosya, were composed by Rajib Baruah, the guest faculty of Dhakuakhana Normal School while the rest play titled as Boliya Ban was composed by trainee Shilpa Saikia. The street plays disseminate message of the importance of green plants and their usefulness, checking deforestation, checking sound pollution, air pollution during the Diwali, the festival of light and the measures to be adopted during flood.
