Stress laid on realization of ideology of preamble at Lakhimpur Kendriya Mahavidyalay

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district unit of Asom Anusuchita Jati Yuba Chatra Santha (AAJYCS) observed the Constitution Day at Lakhimpur Kendriya Mahavidyalay on Saturday in a befitting manner in association with the Department of Politics of the college.
The agenda of the event began with the presentation of Asom Sangeet. Retired Senior Planning Officer Bogendra Kumar Das inaugurated the meeting, which was chaired by Principal Golap Sarmah Baruah. The meeting was held under the management of AAJYCS Lakhimpur district secretary Dipak Basfore. In connection with the event, rich tribute was paid to Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar by lighting earthen lamp and garlanding his statue by the dignitaries of the meeting and members of the organization.

Attending the programme as resource person, TTN College Assistant Professor Mukul Nath, Lakhimpur Kendriya Mahavidyalay Assistant Professor Harakanta Payeng and Dulimer HS School Subject Teacher Nitul Medhi presented analytical lecture and presented papers on the Constitution of India by throwing light on its ideology, aims and objectives etc.
The attending students took part in an interactive session with the resource persons regarding various aspects of the Constitution. AAJYCS central committee president Nripen Das, secretary Nityananda Das, other members Moon Das, Bijay Das, Basanta Das, Subject Teacher Rohiteswar Borah delivered lecture as guests of honour. In the same event, prizes were given away to the winners of the various competitions organized among the students of the college in connection with Lachit Divas.
