Student goes missing in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: Sensation prevailed in Bahbari area of Hijuguri under Tinsukia PS after a student of Class IX of Guru Teg Bahadur Academy, Anushuya Sonowal went missing after she left home in her school uniform to attend the Teachers’ Day programme in school on Wednesday. After she did not return home till late evening, the anxious father, Karna Kanta Sonowal lodged a missing diary at Hijuguri OP. Meanwhile, the principal of the school informed that the girl did not turn up at school for the Teachers’ Day programme.
