Students & Social Bodies of Karbi Anglong Demanded 100 % Job Reservation

DIPHU: Students & social bodies of Karbi Anglong have demanded 100 % job reservation for local ST youths of the twin hill districts of Assam. They also requested the aspirants from other districts of the State to refrain from appearing in the examination for 3rd and 4th-grade posts in Assam Hills Medical College.

Leaders of Karbi Students’ Association, Karbi Students & Youth Council, Karbi Students’ Union, Karbi Farmers’ Association & Karbi National Assembly, during a press conference held on Thursday, strongly appealed to the authority & selection committee of Assam Hills Medical College to think & work for the uplift and betterment of the people of the district.
