Summer workshop on Mathematics and General Science at Demow

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Assam Science Society, Demow branch, a summer workshop on Mathematics and General Science was organized in the Bamrajabari High School from July 15. The workshop was inaugurated by Arup Dutta, Joint Secretary of the Assam Science Society. Jadab Changmai, President of Assam Science Society Demow branch, presided over the meeting.

On the occasion, Ghana Kanta Gogoi spoke about the Science Society while Dr Pranjal Bezboruah, Secretary of Assam Science Society Demow branch, was present. Dr Nabajyoti Borah, Assistant Professor at Sivasagar University, Debojit Barua, Teacher at Delhi Public School Numaligarh, Rahul Mandal, Teacher at Science Academy Demow, and Deba Dehingia, Teacher at Dhemechi High School, were the resource persons, and taught the students of Class 9 and Class 10.

The resource persons were felicitated with phulam gamosas and certificates. The workshop concluded on July 17.
