Swachhata Pakhwada at Tezpur Air Force Station

GUWAHATI: Air warriors of the IAF and families participated voluntarily in the Swachhata campaign at Air Force School in Tezpur with great zeal and enthusiasm by launching an awareness drive branded as “Plastic se Raksha-Swachhata hi Suraksha” as part of Swachhata Pakhawada, on Saturday. The drive was led by Air Commodore Tejpal Singh, Air Officer Commanding, stated a press release.

The air warriors were also sensitized to discourage use of all types of plastic items for which an alternative exists. The aim of the drive was to inculcate Swachha Abhiyan as part of a daily life.
