Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation Cell organizes voters’ awareness rally

Dibrugarh: Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation Cell organized a voters’ awareness rally on Saturday. The rally started from Chowkidinghee field and ended at Thanacharali. The rally titled ‘Vote’r babe daaur’ (Race for vote) was inaugurated by DC, Pallav Gopal Jha. Speaking just before the rally began, Jha urged the participants to exercise one of their most important political rights and contribute towards strengthening the democracy. He also administered an oath where all the students and Anganwadi workers present in the rally vowed not to cast their votes under duress or any enticement. Later, an awareness camp on EVM and VVPAT was also held for the public at the Chowkidinghee Field.
