DHEKIAJULI: A wave of anxiety and concern gripped the town of Dhekiajuli and its surrounding areas following the mysterious disappearance of a teenage girl, Puja Boro (14 years), a Class 10 student of St. Ursula School. Puja has been missing since June 19, leaving her family and local residents deeply distressed.
The girl, a resident of Upper Panbari, Dhekiajuli, had reportedly left home and did not return. Her worried parents, Pratap Chandra Boro and Pranita Boro, lodged a missing person complaint at the Dhekiajuli police station on June 20. However, even after several days, no concrete lead has emerged, and the police have not yet been able to trace her whereabouts.
The incident sparked public concern, with local organizations and citizens urging the authorities to intensify search operations. Community members have also taken to social media in hopes of spreading awareness and gathering information that could assist in locating the missing girl.
