Temporary secretariat of Kamatapur Autonomous Council inaugurated in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: The temporary secretariat of Kamatapur Autonomous Council (KAC) was inaugurated on Thursday. Prasanti Lodge of North Salamara area in the Bongaigaon district has been temporarily established as secretariat of the autonomous council. Talking to media persons, Gokul Barman, Chief Executive Councilor of KAC, said that though they wanted to observe this inaugural ceremony in a grand way, due to the flood situation in Assam, the programme was done in a small way.
