Tezpur Vartak Model School celebrates 23rd annual day

Tezpur: Vartak Model School celebrated its 23rd annual day function in the school premises on Wednesday. KP Purushothaman, chief engineer of project Vartak, Tezpur, was the chief guest on the occasion. Dipali Gupta, Principal, VMS, government officials, parents and students were present.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, KP Purushothaman. After the welcome address the children performed a variety of cultural programmes. Speaking on the occasion, KP Purushothaman said, “Students are the future of our country and we have to ensure that they learn good education from the schools and contribute their values to the society.”

Earlier, Principal Dipali Gupta welcomed the gathering and spoke about the school’s academic and sports achievements. She shared the school’s annual report of the past session. This was followed by the prize distribution and certificate given by the chief guest to the academically meritorious students of Vartak Model School.
