Tinsukia District Congress Committee carried out cycle rally against price rise

TINSUKIA: Along with the rest of Assam, the Tinsukia District Congress Committee brought out a bicycle rally on Tuesday to protest against price rise.

The rally, that begun from Congress Bhavan, culminated at the Deputy Commissioner's office via GNB Road, Tinkunia, Borpathar and Rangagora Road. In the protest rally, district president Jayanta Kalita, former Chabua MLA Raju Sahu, secretary Pradesh CongressBirinchi Neog, Block presidents Bilon Moran, Bijoy Gohain, Subhashis Bhattacharjee and Bhaskar Jiban Baruah participated among others. Later, the committee submitted a memorandum to the Governor of Assam through the Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia.
